Vanessa originally hails from Canada. Is she secretly the princess of the Canadian wilderness? Was she raised by a gentle herd of moose? Does she like maple syrup? The answer to any of these questions could be yes. In addition to these possible backstories, Vanessa has an actual backstory which includes being a seasoned a cappella veteran; she sang in and arranged for an a cappella group she was part of in high school. The group was called Onomatopoeia, which is hard to spell. Coincidentally, it is possible that Vanessa is able to cast spells with Canadian wilderness magic. Watch out for Vanessa!
