When Ryan isn't serving looks with his snazzy outfits or flooring us with his showstopping belt, he’s busy working as a Urim Fellow at Slifka, a co-president with Yale Undergraduate Mindfulness, and a Staff Writer with The Politic—all at the same time. Dang, he’s sure got a lot on his Plato. Wait—did you not know? Ryan also did DS. Arendt you surprised?
These Thoreauly developed puns aside, our political theory scholar proudly hails from Bellaire, Texas—not to be confused with the Will Smith sitcom. Although not a fresh prince, Ryan is nevertheless a star, splitting his time on-stage between a cappella and theatre. And when you meet this Texan tenor, call him out for his classic, apropos of nothing, “I’m Ryan, by the way.” Ryan, by the way, please shut up.
